A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

You wake with no memory of the past few days, only to find out your lover Clara has been murdered, and your fellow villagers believe that you did it. By nightfall you’ll need to bring back three pieces of evidence to change their minds. The story draws on Jungian ideas of the shadow, alongside fragments of occult folklore.

This is a short point-and-click adventure game made for the 2-week $109 Adventure Game Challenge. The theme was: "You are the Wrong Person. The protagonist must be mistaken for someone else. The game must entirely hinge on this mistaken identity."

This is my first game!

Very nicely done. A tad light on the puzzles, but it more than makes up for that with story. Highly atmospheric. I think you could improve the polish a bit by not allowing the same action to be repeated (when I've taken the potion and used it, I can just take it again and use it in the same way).

Glad you enjoyed + your feedback is much appreciated! Definitely a lot of things to polish post game jam. Thank you for the reminder <3

I liked this a lot. The music and clothes in the opening scene gave me vibes of Asia (China or Japan?), but other things later felt more European. Anyway, the feel of a folk tale.
